Frances Vela-Cantos, APN-C joined Englewood Cardiac Surgery in 2000.

Her experience includes working as a staff nurse in critical care, a research coordinator in clinical trials and an instructor of nursing education. She obtained her basic training in nursing from Purdue University, her Master’s degrees in Nursing from New York University and her post-masters nurse practitioner certification and training from Columbia University.

Frances is licensed and board certified to practice as an advance practice nurse in New Jersey.
