Therese Powers, PA-C

Therese Powers has been a Physician Assistant in cardiothoracic surgery for approximately 10 years. She started her career in basic science then moved on to become a Clinical Research Coordinator and Administrator at New York University in the field of oncology and HIV-related conditions, where she remained for 7 years, co-authoring several papers.

She left clinical research to acquire her degree as a Physician Assistant and later returned to Bellevue Hospital in New York City to work in the field of Cardiothoracic Surgery, where she remained for another 7 years. 

Four years ago, she returned to her home state of New Jersey and joined the Cardiac Surgery Department at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center where she continues to practice currently.
