Denise Kelly-Jones, RN, MS, ACNP, ANP-CS, CCRN holds board certification as both an Acute Care and Adult Nurse Practitioner, and is nationally certified as a Critical Care Registered Nurse.
She completed her Master’s of Science degree and graduated as an Adult Nurse Practitioner with critical care focus from SUNY/Stony Brook in 1992. She received the Deans Award for Outstanding Contribution to the School and University, and was awarded membership in the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society. She obtained her Associate of Applied Sciences and Bachelor’s of Science degrees from CUNY/College of Staten Island.
Starting as a hospital volunteer at age 13, she worked as a Student Nurse Technician, Dental Assistant, then an RN in Med/Surg, Coronary Care ICU, and Cardiac Surgery ICU. She taught as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist at Stony Brook. She worked as an NP in the Cardiac Surgery program in Stony Brook and in Baltimore before joining the team at Englewood.
She is married, mom to two young boys, a target archer, avid scrapbooker, and PTA chairperson. |
